Celebrating our fifth season, we returned to Ludlow Farmers' Market for the first week of the season last Friday at the start of Memorial Day weekend. You know where to find us every Friday night until Columbus Day weekend!
The photo shows the curtains down and it was indeed rainy, breezy and cool. A bit lower crowd than we expected, but sales were average. We arrived home and started the wood stove to warm up! This week's forecast predicts more of the same. Good growing weather for peas and potatoes, though!
Now is the time to get good rhubarb and green onion. And asparagus, only selling until the 4th of July. We are all stocked up on soap varieties, fruit syrups, and rhuberry sauce, so buy now before stock runs low.
